Bassel Alkheshi is an experienced chairman with deep expertise in the internet industry, widely recognized for his skills in international relations, management, policy analysis, and risk management. He holds a Ph.D. in Communication Protocols from Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris VI), establishing him as a leading expert in his field.
Currently, Dr. Alkheshi serves as the Chairman of the Syrian Computer Society, where he plays a key role in shaping national digital policies and advancing the country’s technology landscape. His academic involvement includes serving as Vice President for Scientific Affairs and a lecturer at the Arab International University, in addition to teaching roles at renowned institutions such as Orsay University Paris and the Higher Institute of Business Administration (HIBA).
He also contributed to the SYNC’25 event in Damascus as a judge, reflecting his active engagement in supporting digital innovation and youth talent in Syria. Dr. Alkheshi’s career bridges academic excellence and strategic leadership, positioning him as a central figure in Syria’s digital transformation journey.
